Most Common Problems & Solutions

• Prime / Not brewing (water not flowing): Run multiple water-only cycles; descale the machine.
• “Add Water” light on but reservoir is full: Clean the water level sensors with a damp cloth; remove and reinsert reservoir.
• Coffee is weak or not hot enough: Descale regularly; use hotter water setting (on Elite/Supreme models); preheat mug.
• Clogged needle / Grounds in cup: Clean exit and entrance needles with a paperclip or Keurig cleaning tool.
• Brewer won’t turn on: Check power cord; reset by unplugging for 30 seconds.
• Leaking or overflow: Ensure pod is properly seated; clean drip tray and pod holder.

Descaling & Maintenance

• Descaling required: Use Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar (50/50 with water). Run full descale cycle every 3–6 months.
• Slow brewing: Heavy scale buildup – repeat descaling process twice.
• Pod not recognized: Clean pod detection sensors; ensure using genuine K-Cup pods.

K-Duo & Combo Models

• Carafe not brewing: Make sure carafe is properly seated and lid is closed.
• Single serve vs carafe issues: Switch selector knob to correct position.

Safety note: Always unplug the brewer before cleaning internal parts. Never immerse the base in water. Use only Keurig approved pods and cleaning solutions.
